This build is really fun because I find it so satisfying that 5+ enemies can surround me and, using my Volcanic Orb ability, blow them all away with one fireball! As all such mages are, they are typically glass cannons, but the build I’ve come up with adds defense and amazing elemental power. Titan Quest: Anniversary Edition has a few magic-type masteries, but what could make you feel like more of a mage than the Earth and Storm masteries? Both combine to give you full elemental control as, what else, an Elementalist. If you want to be a hard-hitting tank that bashes things with club and shield, you’ll want this mastery. I’ve even written up a build for the Conqueror, which I’ll put up at a later date. This will allow you to stun bosses and kill them easier, which you need to do around this level. Once you get past level 20, you should start working on a skill in defense called Concussive Blow, where you use a club or ax, which stuns enemies and increases the time they’re stunned. To start with up to level 20, you should use whatever gives you the highest attack and DPS, so a sword, club, ax, etc.

I created this build to be a high damage tank with a solid offense from Warfare and a high defense using the unique mastery name, Defense. It combines Warfare and Defense masteries, with Warfare being the main mastery. The first build I’ll talk about is the classic Sword and Board, which in Titan Quest is the Conqueror.

Here are three classic RPG builds for Titan Quest: Anniversary Edition for newbies: Conqueror (Sword and Board), Elementalist (Mage), and Brigand (Bow and Arrow). Isn’t that what we game for, fun? My approach to creating a build is to make it strong and sturdy enough to handle the content and use different skills and have some fun. I’ve used builds that others have created but I noticed one thing about them: although I did level quickly and had little trouble with the content, it was boring to play the builds which have you work on one class until level 20+ and work on just one skill at a time.
